National Institute of Intellectual Property
Meeting of the Competition committee for awarding the title "Honored Inventor of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was held on May 31, 2021. The award is a form of reward for the authors of the most important and widely used inventions.
9 applications for candidates, claiming to be awarded the title "Honored Inventor of the Republic of Kazakhstan", were submitted to the commission for consideration.
Based on the decision of the Competition committee, by order of the Director of the National Institute of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Justice No. 147 NK dated June 2, 2021, the title "Honored Inventor of the Republic of Kazakhstan - 2021" was awarded to two candidates with the highest number of points: Dmitry Pak, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Acting Associate Professor of the Karaganda Technical University and Vitaly Kulikov, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Nanotechnology and Metallurgy, Karaganda Technical University.
Generally Mr. Pak's inventions refers to the field of quality control of solid fossil fuels, nuclear-physical methods and methods for analyzing substances using gamma and neutron radiation.
The main direction Mr. Kulikov's scientific research is development of models of dispersed media with simultaneous static and thermal loading. For the first time, Mr. Kulikov began to use non-stationary load in the processes of forming sand-resin mixtures.
The Сompetition commission consists of representatives of state bodies in the field of education and science, state support for industrial and innovative activities and energy, public associations in the field of patenting, members of the Public Council on the activities of justice bodies, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan and employees of the expert organization (Kazpatent).
It should be noted that the winners are awarded a diploma and a commemorative ribbon "Honored Inventor of the Republic of Kazakhstan".
