(57) Abstract

The multifunctional module performs the following functions:

-       collection of information from pulse outputs of metering samples;

-       transmission of the collected information over the radio channel in digital form.

The multifunctional module reads pulses coming from a pulse input based on a reed switch ("dry contact") both with a normally open type of signal contact and with a normally closed one.

The multifunctional module transmits the following types of data over the radio channel:

-      current accumulations of the number of pulses;

-      software version;

-      The MAC address of the device;

-      voltage at the autonomous power supply;

-      the number of the pulse input.

The multifunctional module provides a short-term (no more than 3 seconds) switching on of the LED indicator at the following situations:

-      exposure to a source of a constant magnetic field, in the place indicated on the case;

-      data transmission over the radio channel.

The multifunctional module transmits data over the radio channel with a frequency of once a day.

The multifunctional module transmits data when exposed to a permanent magnetic field generated by a test source with the following characteristics in the place indicated on the housing:

-      magnetization method: axial (1 north and 1 south pole);

-      remaining magnetization: from 30 to 70 MT (no more);

-      coercive force: from 10 to 15 kA/m (no more);

-      magnetic field strength (distance from the surface of 1 mm): from 3 to 8 kA/m (no more).
