"Dear applicants, for your information, we inform you about the following changes in the Regulations on the fees of the Eurasian patent organization, with effect from 1January 2019"
Applicants, patent owners, as well as subjects of transfer of the right to the Eurasian application and Eurasian patent mentioned in the rules 7, 13(5), 13(9) The patent instruction, which, in accordance with rule 40(4) of the Patent instruction, is provided with a preferential tariff, shall pay fees in the following amounts:
- individuals from Contracting States - 10 per cent of the fees set out in paragraphs 2, 4, 5, 6, 7(1), 7(3), 8 And 11 provisions on the fees of the Eurasian patent organization;
- science and educational oraganizations from Contracting States - 30 per cent of the fees set out in the paragraphs 2, 4, 5, 6, 7(1), 7(3), 8 And 11 provisions on the fees of the Eurasian patent organization;
- legal persons from Contracting States (other than the persons referred to in sub-paragraph (ii) of this subparagraph) - 90 per cent of the amounts of the fees set out in paragraphs 2, 4, 5, 6, 7(1), 7(3), 8 And 11 provisions on the fees of the Eurasian patent organization;
- individuals from States not party to the Convention - 50 per cent of the fees set out in paragraphs 2, 4, 5, 6, 7(1), 7(3), 8 and 11 Provisions on the fees of the Eurasian patent organization".
