19 November 2018 Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan A. K. Zhumagaliyev approved a roadmap for optimizing state services in the sphere of protection of intellectual property (hereinafter – the roadmap).
As a result of the implementation of the above Road map of the state services in the sphere of intellectual property is fully transferred into electronic format.
The roadmap provides amendments to the standards and regulations of public services, modification of the automated information system "National Institute of Intellectual Property" (hereinafter - AIS NIIS) and the portal of "Electronic government" (further – the portal), run an optimized business process and familiarize the public with the implementation of these innovations.
On April 22, 2019, amendments were made to the Register of public services, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 18, 2013 No. 983 was approved.
Also, by order of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 5, 2019 No. 382, amendments were made to the standards of state services in the field of protection and protection of intellectual property rights, approved by order of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 11, 2018 No. 1481.
By order of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 29, 2019 No. 455, amendments were made to the regulations of state services in the field of protection and protection of intellectual property rights, approved by order of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 26, 2018 No. 1510.
In addition, all the necessary technical work was completed to optimize AIS NIIS business processes in terms of interaction with the portal.
The relevant information on the complete automation of the process of rendering public services was posted on August 8, 2019 on the website of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan www.adilet.gov.kz, on August 2, 2019 on the website of the RSE “NIIP” of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan www.kazpatent.kz.
