On December 23, 2019, experts of the "National Institute of Intellectual Property" were held a training seminar on the topic: “Registration of IT solutions as intellectual property” at the Astana Hub International IT and startup hub.
The event was held in the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed in 2019 between the RSE “NIIP” and the Astana Hub.
The chief expert of the Division of Patent Examination in the Field of Physics and Mechanical Engineering of the Department of Inventions, Utility Models and Selection Achievements Zamira Srayil acquainted the listeners and employees of the technology park with the process of patenting IT solutions. The main points of patenting abroad were highlighted in her speech by the senior expert of the Division of the Formal Examination of Inventions and Selection Achievements Lyazzat Tutesheva. Sayat Shiderbekov, deputy head of the copyright department, spoke about copyright registration.
At the end of the IT seminar, specialists and startups received full consultation on the registration of IT solutions and legal literacy regarding the protection and protection of their intellectual property.
