National Institute of Intellectual Property
On march 12th 2025 a seminar on "Protection and protection of intellectual property objects" was held in Almaty, organized by Trainig Center of Qazpatent brach. The event brought together experts in the field of intellectual property, business representatives, scientific organizations, law firms, as well as independent inventors and entrepreneurs.
The seminar opened with a welcoming speech by Zaura Orynbekova, Director of the Qazpatent Branch, who emphasized the importance of an effective intellectual property protection system for the development of an innovative economy. During the event, key aspects of patenting, international protection of rights, trademark registration and copyright were discussed. The speakers shared practical recommendations, analyzed current cases and highlighted current challenges in the field of intellectual property. Special attention was paid to issues of international patenting and law enforcement practice, as well as the use of electronic filing systems, which greatly simplifies the process of intellectual property registration. The practical part of the seminar allowed the participants not only to gain theoretical knowledge, but also to consolidate it in practice by studying real examples of preparation and submission of applications.
At the end of the event, a question and answer session was held, during which experts provided explanations on topical issues and shared recommendations on the protection of intellectual property rights. At the end of the seminar, all participants were awarded certificates.
