On November 21, 2024, a significant event took place - the tenth anniversary “School of Young Inventor”. This year's event was held in an online format, bringing together participants of the KazRoboProject competition, including schoolchildren, teachers, mentors and tutors of creative scientific and technical projects in the field of robotics and automation.
The event was opened by Inkara Shertysheva, Head of the Department of Development and International Cooperation of RSE “NIIP” KIP of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In her presentation she told about Kazpatent's activities, its main functions and role in supporting invention and innovation in Kazakhstan.
Raushan Avvalova, Head of the Copyright Office, lectured on the process of copyright registration in the Republic of Kazakhstan, emphasizing its importance for young inventors and their mentors.
The “Young Inventor School” project was initiated in February 2020 as part of the “Year of the Volunteer”. Its goal is to create an understanding of the value and significance of intellectual property (IP) among young people. Over four years, the project has proved to be an effective educational platform, including a series of practical classes, introductory lectures on IP basics, quizzes, interactive games, meetings with young inventors who already have experience in patenting, as well as informing about national competitions for high school students organized by the RSE “NIIP” of the KIP of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
“School of Young Inventor” is held both on the site of the Office and in online format, which provides access to knowledge for participants from all regions of Kazakhstan
We would like to thank Aizhan Zhakeeva, President of KazRobotics Federation, for providing the audience and active assistance in the successful organization of the broadcast.
The jubilee event was another step in supporting the young generation of inventors and strengthening the scientific and technological potential of Kazakhstan.
