Please be informed that on December 21 2015 in the Training Center of the Branch of RSE "National Institute of Intellectual Property" (BRE) in Almatywill be held a workshop on "Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on issues of intellectual property. Legal protection, evaluation and use of intellectual property. Electronic services of RSE "NIIP"

The lecturers at the seminar were: Senior Experts of the Branch of "NIIP" in Almaty, Head of the Direction on Information and Information Resources of RSE "NIIP"(Astana), Head of the Intellectual Property Rights of the Department of Justice of Almaty, Master of Intellectual Property Rights (Turin/The WIPO Academy), Partner of international law firm «Legalmax», Director of "Intellect Partners".

The workshop will cover the basic provisions of the legislation in the field of intellectual property:

- Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international conventions (agreements) on intellectual property in force in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Patents and utility models in accordance with changes in the Patent Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

- Electronic services of RSE NIIP;

- Copyright. Related rights;

- Assessment of intellectual property;

- Legal aspects of the deposit of the works in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the seminar, experts from the Branch of NIIP will be provided advice on the protection of industrial property.

The seminar is free of charge.
