In order to promote knowledge in the field of intellectual property and to execute the plan on measures to improve the proportion of applications for intellectual property objects filed in electronic format the seminar on "Legislation of Kazakhstan on intellectual property issues. Electronic filing of applications for intellectual property objects" was held in the Research Center "Gharysh-Ecology" by the Branch of RSE "NIIP" in Almaty on November 11, 2016.
The seminar was attended by members of the RC "Gharysh-Ecology" and specialists of the Branch of RSE "NIIP" in Almaty.
Following lectures were given: «On amendments and supplements to some legislative acts in the field of intellectual property» by V.P. Fedurin, chief examiner of the Department of patent researches on inventions; «Electronic filing of applications for IP objects» by B.O. Nazarov, Chief specialist of the Training center.
The seminar participants asked a number of questions regarding the registration and legal protection of industrial property objects, the objects that are not subject to state protection of IP objects, as well as on electronic filing, the assignment of bar codes, etc. The specialists of the branch of RSE "NIIP" in Almaty gave qualified answers to all questions.
