The signing ceremony of the MoU between the Republican State Enterprise "National Institute of Intellectual Property" of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the United States Patent and Trademark Office took place on December 8, 2016.
The main areas of cooperation:
A. Organization of conferences, symposia, seminars, workshops and roundtables focused on the role of IP in promoting innovation/economic growth; acquisition, use, protection and enforcement of IP; and IP education/public awareness campaigns;
B. Training of patent and trademark examiners, and exchanges of best practices;
C.Exchange of IP-related, non-confidential information and best practices, including
those in delivering IP services.
