Head of State in his address to the nation of Kazakhstan "The third modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness" determined the task of creation a new model of economic growth that will provide the country’s global competitiveness. One ofimportant conditions for achieving this purpose is support and commercialization of promising innovations.
In order to contribute to implementation of determined task Ministry of Justice and National institute of intellectual property launched a Project aimed at encouraging inventive activity among population. “Shapagat “Republican Forum” was developed within this project, which will become a platform for “Fair of inventions”, "Shapagat" Republican competition of inventors and "Future is in your hands: invent and create" competition among young inventors.
“Fair of inventions” gives inventors an opportunity to promote independently their inventions, post additional information and carry out search for business partners to introduce their inventions into production. In turn, potential investors will have access to inventions posted on the fairground.
Within "Shapagat" competition of inventors Internet users will choose the best inventors according to their opinion via voting through social networks.
Applications for participation in "Shapagat" competitive of inventors will begin on 26 April and end on 26 June 2017. Voting among users of the Internet resource will hold from 27 June to 30 September of this year. The results will sum up on 15 October 2017.
The students of 8-11 grades of secondary schools of the Republic of Kazakhstan are eligible to participate in "Future in your hands: invent and create" competition among schoolchildren. The competition will start on 26 April and will last until 30 September 2017. Winners of the competition will be determined on 25 October of this year.
