On April 24, 25, 26, a seminar will be held at the branch of RSE "NIIP" on the topic "Legal Protection of Industrial Property Objects".

On April 24, 25, 26, 2019, a branch of the “National Institute of Intellectual Property” of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan will host a training seminar on the theme “Legal protection of industrial property objects”.

This seminar is devoted to the legal protection of intellectual property objects, in particular objects of inventions, utility models, industrial designs and selection achievements.

Representatives of business structures, domestic producers and interested persons will be invited to this event.

The seminar will address the following questions:

  • legal protection of objects of the invention and utility model in the Republic of Kazakhstan;
  • patent information and documentation. Information sources;
  • information search to determine the level of technology and verify the novelty of the claimed invention;
  • the procedure for filing an application for an invention and utility model;
  • filing of the PCT international application on the basis of the Patent Cooperation Treaty.
  • submission of a Eurasian application;
  • legal protection of a selection achievement;
  • legal protection of industrial designs; Case law on industrial designs;
  • the basics of copyright;
  • transfer and granting rights to intellectual property;
  • electronic filing of applications for intellectual property.

The seminar starts on April 24, 2019 at 10.30.

The seminar will be held on a paid basis with the issuance of a certificate.

The cost of the seminar per person is 16,485 tenge.
