The first online training on the exchange of experience with representatives of the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held today, on September 29, 2021.
The event was initiated by the Kazakh side in order to develop mutually beneficial cooperation and practical interaction in the field of intellectual property within the recommendations of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
Head of the International Relations and Information Department of the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan Geray Dadashev and Deputy Director of the Patent and Trademarks Examination Office Anar Huseynov made a welcoming speech from Azerbaijan.
On behalf of the Kazakh side, the online meeting was opened by the Deputy Director of Kazpatent Aidyn Artykova, who acquainted the audience with the activities of Kazpatent and emphasized the importance of conducting such trainings in order to achieve results in the development of bilateral relations.
Head of the Department of Inventions, Utility Models and Selection Achievements Altynay Batyrbekova, Head of the Division on Examination of Trademarks, Appellations of Origin and Industrial Designs Indira Taibergenova and Head of the Division on Examination of Industrial Designs Lyazzat Salken acted as speakers of Kazpatent.
The event ended with an active dialogue between the parties. Experts from the Azerbaijani Department focused on practical issues related to the examination of intellectual property objects.
The parties discussed further steps to deepen cooperation in the field of intellectual property.
