Held a training seminar on "Protection of intellectual property in the Republic of Kazakhstan"

On 30 March, Kazpatent held a training seminar for professors and students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography on "Protection of intellectual property in the Republic of Kazakhstan".

The event was held as part of the IP Around Me campaign to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's intellectual property system.

Kazpatent's experts covered issues of state policy in the field of intellectual property, the advantages of legal protection of intellectual property, legal protection and registration of copyright, international patenting of inventions under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), regional patenting of inventions under the Eurasian Patent Convention (EAPC), commercialisation of intellectual property, and protection of intellectual property rights.

In the future, similar training events are planned for other higher education institutions.
