Undertaken activities on providing intellectual property by territorial bodies of Justice for the 9 months of 2012

Juridical authorities conducted 523 inspections on using intellectual property for the 9 months of 2013. The results of the inspections revealed 378 violations. 507 administrative cases were filed, 440 out of which under Article 129 of the Administrative Code (infringement of copyright and neighboring rights), and 64 administrative cases under Article 145 of the Administrative Code (illegal use of a trademark).

66787 copies of counterfeit goods totaling 59 588471 tenge were seized.

464 administrative cases were sent to the Courts. 448 cases were considered by the Court, and 11 cases were closed.

439 persons were subjected to administrative liability, the amount of fines constituted at 23 991964 tenge.

65804 copies of counterfeit goods totaling 58 749263 tenge were confiscated.
