On April 26, the world celebrates International Intellectual Property Day, an important date established in 2000 by the member States of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). It was on this day in 1970 that the WIPO Convention entered into force, marking the beginning of the organization's activities, which plays a key role in the international system of intellectual property rights protection.
The theme for 2025 is "Intellectual Property and Music. Feel the beat of IP" inspires the Qazpatent team to implement a unique creative project that unites employees in an effort to convey the musical culture of Kazakhstan through the prism of intellectual property.
The staff of the department enthusiastically participated in the creation of a flash mob and a video clip, revealing the theme of the year by means of national art. In the frame are traditional Kazakh dances accompanied by live performances of kuy, reflecting the richness and originality of the country's musical heritage.
A special place in the video is occupied by the anthem of Qazpatent, specially written and performed by the staff of the department. From words and music to choreography and dombra playing, everything is created by the team, demonstrating the team's cohesion, talent and engagement.
International Intellectual Property Day is not only a professional holiday, but also an opportunity for Qazpatent to express respect for national culture, creativity and the values that stand behind each protected result of intellectual work.
