From March 6-8, 2024, Qazpatent delegation participated in the Women in Intellectual Property (IP) Symposium organized by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
The Kazakhstan Patent Office was represented by participants of the Global Mentoring Project: Ayagul Abitbekova, Deputy Head of Trademark Department, Inkara Shertysheva, Head of Division of Development and International Cooperation and Aruzhan Ulkhanova, Head of IPR Center.
The USPTO Symposium is designed to support and promote the role of women in IP, as well as to promote equal opportunities and fair representation in this field. The participation of Qazpatent's delegation in this event emphasizes the commitment to building fruitful and mutually beneficial cooperation at the international level.
The project was launched in 2023 and represents a unique opportunity for participants to exchange experience and knowledge with global IP experts during 2024.
Qazpatent's participation will be an important step towards strengthening partnerships and promoting innovation in the field of IP.
The program will run for 8 months.
