May 3, 2017, the International University of Information Technologies held a meeting of the Commission on the "Development of High Technologies" election program of the party "Nur Otan" with the agenda:
I. Acquaintance with the work of the International University of Information Technologies;
II. Discussion of the draft Law "On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on improving legislation in the sphere of Intellectual Property";
III. The results of the application of the Law "On the commercialization of scientific and (or) scientific and technical results" within the framework of the implementation of the Plan of the Nation "100 concrete steps".
At the meeting, the director of the Almaty branch of NIIP, Orynbekova Z., made a presentation on the second issue on the agenda and made a report on the analysis of the annual number of Kazakhstan patents for inventions and registration of trademarks.
