The developers of IT solutions have the opportunity to obtain legal protection for intellectual property, including patents for inventions and utility models, by contacting the RSE “NIIP”.
In addition, it provides for an accelerated examination in the field of information and communication technologies, subject to the submission of a request and the provision of a document confirming the relevant payment.
Starting September 24, 2018, it is also possible to obtain certificates certifying copyright to computer programs through the state service for entering information and their changes into the State Register of Rights to Copyright Protected Objects. The term for the provision of this service is 1 business day. The application is submitted online through the web portal egov.kz or on our website.
