A round table on the theme: “Prevention and combating corruption in the provision of public services” was held at the RSE “NIIP”

In accordance with the Action Plan of the RSE “NIIP” for 2020 on combating corruption and the formation of an anti-corruption culture, a round table was held on February 21, 2020 in the RSE “NIIP” on the topic: “Prevention and combating corruption in the provision of public services”.

The round table was attended by:Zhazira Zhylkyshieva,First Deputy Headof the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on combating corruption in the city of Nur-Sultan;Alma Sydykova,ethics commissioner of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan,Meruert Turbekova;Acting Head of the Department of Automation and Monitoring of Public Services of the Department of Digitalization and Automation of Public Services of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The team of RSE “NIIP” took part in its entirety, including employees of a branch in Almaty through video communication.

During the event, reportsregarding the activities of the NIIP in the prevention and combating corruptionwere presented by Altynai Taysheva, Head of the Division on Monitoring expert and public services and by Rustembek Zhumanov, Chief specialist of the HR Division of the RSE “NIIP”.

Zhazira Zhylkyshieva, First Deputy Head of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on combating corruption in the city of Nur-Sultan spoke in detail about the novelties in the field of combating corruption in the Republic of Kazakhstan, about everyday corruption, as well as a range of measures, ranging from legislative initiatives to work on anti-corruption education and education carried out in recent years in Kazakhstan.

In order to form an anti-corruption culture, the causes of corruption, the main directions of the fight against it, and the development of a negative attitude to this phenomenon, the film “Fight against corruption” was watched.

At the end of the meeting, the participants noted the importance of active work of state bodies and the entire society within the framework of the Law“On combating corruption”.
