On 31 May Qazpatent held a training webinar for entrepreneurs and individuals with a business initiative of the Qolday Centre for Entrepreneurship on the topic: "Intellectual Property and Business".

The event was held as part of the IP Around Me campaign to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the intellectual property system of Kazakhstan.

Qazpatent's experts presented issues of public policy in the field of intellectual property, legal protection of copyright, inventions and utility models, international patenting of inventions under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), regional patenting of inventions under the Eurasian Patent Convention (EAPC), patent search through national and international databases, commercialization of intellectual property, and intellectual property protection.

Such training events are also planned for other IP subjects in the future.
